A splendid location for the fisherman, hiker, hill - walker, painter and climber. Renvyle is right at the western end of Connemara on the Renvyle Peninsula. This is an area of outstanding scenic beauty, the coastline offering gorgeous views and some exceptionally pretty (mostly sandy) beaches.

The poet, surgeon and statesman Gogarty once owned what is now Renvyle House Hotel.
