County Galway - Clarinbridge

A village on the Galway City - Gort - Ennis road, Clarinbridge is perhaps most famous for the Clarinbridge Oyster Festival; an annual event held both here and in the neighbouring village of Kilcolgan, during September. The world oyster-opening championships are also hosted here during the festival.

There are several good pubs and restaurants in the local area, some of which have been roofed in the traditional thatch manner.
