John Sullivan takes pride in the fact that Images Night Club within the framework of this fine establishment is one of the finest in Ireland which attracts its clientele from all over.

During the October Bank Holiday weekend the hotel becomes the headquarters of the Gort Folk Festival when both visitors and musicians are amazed at its excellence and above all its good value.

A really great Hotel, and a must for any visitor to Gort or the south-Galway area.

A location map - Gort

Location: Gort, situated on the main Galway - Limerick road. Once the meeting place of those literary giants of their era, Gregory, Yeats and Martin, Gort is often called the literary centre of Ireland. Coole Gardens, with its famous inscribed tree, and the family seat of Lady Gregory, is close to the town and open to the public.

Thoor Ballylee lies within two miles and the Round Tower of Kilmacduagh a mere three miles away.

The area has much to offer by way of sporting relaxation. There is excellent trout fishing in nearby streams, and Coole's Lake and Lough Cutra are perhaps two of the best coarse fishing lakes in the West of Ireland.

We are within fifteen minutes walk of an 18 Hole Golf Course and 15 minutes drive from the Beach and the Burren.
