My mother's maiden name was Brennan and I am trying to trace my family history associated with that name. Her name was Marie Patricia Brennan and her father's name was Edward Brennan (Farmer). My Brother and I have no birth certificate for my mother and have only the information that she was born in Ireland and she was born between 1901 and 1910 - she had a brother whom we think was either in the |Irish uprising or the first world war but we think he was Killed. His name was William. Her sister died when she was very young. My mother was sent over to England when she was either 12 or 14 to look after the wounded soldiers but this never came to fruition and she was looked after by a family in Macclesfield, Cheshire UK. That is all we know and because she died when she was 56 my brother and I have never been able to get to know anything about her life. Can you help.

Joseph Clare Brennan Jr.
(11/10/2006)

My name is Joseph Clare Brennan Jr. I reside in Philadelphia. My Father was Joseph Clare Brennan named after his Uncle godfather and my godfather. My Grand Father was Francis X Brennan with 3 brothers, John, Raymond, and Joseph and a sister that died very young. Their Father, my Great Grand Father was John J. Brennan who died in the Philadelphia Navy Yard in August 1943 on the USS Phoenix when a boiler exploded. I have always found it too coincidental that this occurred at the same time as the alleged Philadelphia Experiment.
