County Clare flowers

County Clare does have many hundreds of species of flower inhabiting its landscapes , many of which can also be found inhabiting some other parts of Ireland. The list below contains only flora that is less likely to be found in other counties or is only to be found in County Clare. A wide variety of flora does exist within this region and indeed some unlikely inhabitants can be found , especially within the area known as 'The Burren'; an area of raised limestone covering a large proportion of West Clare.
