Rose of Clare - Based in Clonroad, this is probably the longest running festival in Clare. Celebrating its 21st year this year. Lots of things to do for all ages. This is one of the largest tourist attractions in West Clare.

Feakle International Traditional Music Festival - Almost a week of traditional Irish music , dance and song. There will also be workshops , lectures and concerts.

Eigse Mrs Crotty - Located in Kilrush, this festival commemorates the life and times of Mrs. Elizabeth Crotty , regarded as one of the outstanding figures in Clare's musical heritage. Lectures , workshops , concertina classes , open-air street ceili and , of course , traditional music sessions in pubs throughout the town.

Merriman Summer School - Based in Lisdoonvarna. This summer school celebrates the work of the poet Brian Merriman. Last year's theme was 'Sing Till I Know You; the significance of of song and singing in popular culture'. Several speakers on a range of related topics. Also singing and Irish dance classes. Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking festival - Internationally renowned as Europe's biggest 'singles' event , but also lots of fun for everybody else.
